Platts & Nisbett have been hand making precision Surgical Instruments since 1977, and believe that quality and performance are paramount. Each instrument is skilfully produced by hand here at our Sheffield premises, using only the finest materials. Every item is 100% inspected to ensure it meets our stringent requirements.
All products supplied under the Platts & Nisbett name are laser marked with "Platts & Nisbett", "CE mark”, "Part Number" and "Lot Number". This ensures our instruments can be easily identified, and are also fully traceable.
All our instruments are manufactured to the highest possible standards and are CE marked in compliance with the Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC. Our company operates a Quality Management System which is independently assessed by the BSI and is registered to ISO 13485.
Guarantee
All instruments supplied by Platts & Nisbett are guaranteed to be free from defects in workmanship and materials. In the unlikely event that any instrument is found to be unsatisfactory in normal use within 5 years of purchase it will be refurbished or replaced free of charge.
Free life time sharpening applies to all Chisels, Gouges & Osteotomes purchased direct from Platts & Nisbett and branded with the trade mark.
This guarantee does not cover products which have become defective through misuse, neglect or poor quality repair by other companies.
